This
is a Fish Story
Do the fish bite in the fall? These forty pounds of pike and bass caught
by "Bill" Harley, on motorcycle, and William David-son, in
sidecar, in a recent moonlight fishing trip to a lake, twentyfive miles
west of Mil-waukee, answer the question. Take a look at that big one -
he weighs 8 an a quarter pounds. According to Harley, there´s
nothing like the moonlight and the right sort of bait for success-
full
fall fishing. That´s the recipe, see if you can do likewise.
"Bill" Harley, as most of the old riders know, ist the
chief designer of your Harley-Davidson motorcycle. (The Harley-Davidson Enthusiast, December 1922)
